Collection: Brigadoon
The name alone tells you something.
Royal Albert produced this pattern from 1963 to 2001, thirty-eight years of graceful blue and pink thistles on luminous white bone china, finished with fine gold trim and set on the classic Montrose shape with its softly scalloped edges. It was made for the kind of table that took tea seriously. The kind of china that came down from the shelf for occasions that mattered.
The thistle is Scotland's national emblem, and it earned that distinction. Resilient, striking, beautiful in a way that doesn't apologise for its thorns. Royal Albert softened the palette to blue and pink, but kept the character.
The name is widely believed to draw from the 1947 musical Brigadoon, the story of a Highland village that appears from the mist only once every hundred years. Whether that connection was intentional or simply a happy fit, it suits the pattern. Things this beautiful have a way of finding you again.
Each pendant is hand-cut from genuine reclaimed vintage Royal Albert Brigadoon china. Set in hypoallergenic aluminium with a hand-formed wire bale, finished in your choice of gold or silver. Comes with an 18" chain. $44 CAD. Ships across Canada.
Every piece is one of a kind. Same pattern, different story.
