Lorraine doesn't ask you to notice it right away. Royal Albert produced this pattern sometime in the 1960s and into the 1970s, a quiet detour from the roses the brand is best known for. A vine of dark purple grapes trails across white bone china, tangled with maple leaves in silver and soft brown, all of it edged in gold.
