Blossom Time Tall rectangle. One tree, full bloom, standing alone.

This is the best view of the pattern in the whole collection. One apple tree, centred, trunk rooted in green grass, canopy exploding in pink and purple-pink blossom against a soft lilac sky. The whole scene fits inside the frame as if it was painted for exactly this size. It wasn't, of course. That's just how the cut fell.

It's the Annapolis Valley in a single image. The tree that started it all, the one G. R. Palmeter wanted preserved on bone china in 1933. Ninety years later, here it is on a gold chain.

The gold rectangular frame is hand-formed wire with rounded corners and a neat wrap at the top. Warm against the soft colours of the china. This one is hard to put down once you're holding it.
