Blossom Time Teardrop. A branch in bloom, caught mid-reach.

The plate behind this pendant tells you everything the pattern is. Apple trees arching over a path, all of them heavy with pink blossom, the green of new grass underneath. The fragment inside the frame caught a piece of that scene at close range. A branch, bark showing through, pink blooms breaking out along it, a wash of soft sky above and the suggestion of green below.

It's a small piece of a large story. The Annapolis Valley in 1933, rendered on bone china, now worn on a gold chain in whatever year you happen to be reading this.

The gold teardrop frame is hand-formed wire, wrapped neatly at the top. Warm and unhurried, which suits the pattern perfectly.
