Brigadoon

This fragment caught both colours in the one piece. A blue thistle sits near the top, leaves fanning out in teal and green, and below it a pink bloom fills the lower half of the frame, softer and more open. Two thistles, two colours, the full story of the pattern in a single cut.

The gold frame is a long oval, open wire, warm against the cool blues and soft pinks inside it. That contrast is what makes this one work. The gold doesn't match the pattern so much as it balances it.

This is the one for someone who wants the whole of Brigadoon, not just a detail from it.
