Where another pendant gave you the cream rose with company, this one gave you just the rose. It fills the frame almost completely, petals curling inward toward a soft yellow centre, the layers of it visible and unhurried. A little dark leaf at the bottom edge grounds it. Everything else is the flower.

Small pendant, clear subject. The gold oval frame draws a clean line around it, warm wire against warm china. The yellow ground of the Celebration pattern shows faintly behind the bloom and the gold picks that up without trying.
