Oval. One cream rose, close in, nothing else.

Where C_5 gave you the cream rose with company, this one gave you just the rose. It fills the frame almost completely, petals curling inward toward a soft yellow centre, the layers of it visible and unhurried. A little dark leaf at the bottom edge grounds it. Everything else is the flower.

Small pendant, clear subject. The gold oval frame draws a clean line around it, warm wire against warm china. The yellow ground of the Celebration pattern shows faintly behind the bloom and the gold picks that up without trying.

The kind of piece that looks like it was always meant to be worn rather than stored.
