One rose, nearly the full frame. Deep salmon at the centre, the petals layering out from there in warm pink, the faintest yellow catching the light at the heart of it. The cut landed right at the bloom's fullest point, so there's no background to speak of, no negative space to settle into. Just the rose, completely present, filling the oval the way a rose fills a room when it's at its peak.

The cool silver frame and the warm bloom shouldn't work as well together as they do. They do.
