Oval silver, two blossoms
Royal Albert produced Dogwood from 1975 to 2001, part of the Provincial Flowers Series made for Canada. This particular pattern was for British Columbia, the Pacific dogwood rendered in bone china with a confidence that set it apart from anything else in the catalogue.
Two blossoms fill this oval, one fully open at the top, its yellow centre clear and bright, a second bloom just below it, white petals layered and generous. Green leaves behind. The arrangement falls naturally, the way blossoms do on a branch when nobody is arranging them.
Silver wire shaped by hand into a soft oval, the wrapping neat at the top. On a silver chain it has an easy grace. A piece of that Canadian forest, carried forward.

Colours in photos don't always tell the whole story. Every screen reads china a little differently, and the real piece may be slightly warmer or cooler than what you see here.
