One bloom fills most of the frame, white petals spread wide, the yellow centre clear and bright. Green leaves rise from below, grounding it. The rectangle holds the flower almost like a small portrait, upright and unhurried. The white of the petals and the white of the china ground are nearly the same, which makes the yellow centre the thing your eye goes to first.
