Oval silver, one large blossom
Dogwood was Royal Albert's tribute to British Columbia, released in 1975 as part of the Provincial Flowers Series. Twenty-six years in production. The pattern never softened, never tried to be something quieter. Bold white blossoms, rich green leaves, the warm brown of branches reaching across bone china.
One large blossom fills this oval, open and unhurried, white petals with soft grey shadow giving them depth, the yellow centre warm and clear. Green leaves visible behind. The fragment was chosen for the way it captured the whole feeling of the pattern in one piece.
Silver wire shaped by hand into a soft oval, the wrapping gathered neatly at the top. It dresses a silver chain beautifully. This one is for the woman who likes her jewelry to have a little story behind it.
