This collection revives the whimsy of miniature figures found on vintage china, fishermen, moose, cowboys, and birds, each hand-painted with precision on porcelain shards. Such motifs were popularized by Royal Albert and other English brands in mid-20th-century commemorative ware, tourist souvenirs, and narrative plate designs.

Tiny scenes of rural life or wildlife, often no larger than a thumbnail, were crafted for decorative plates, teacup borders, or trinket dishes.
