A rosebud, not a rose. Deep blue, tightly furled, sitting on a long stem with green-brown foliage spreading below it. Plenty of white ground on either side. This cut caught the moment before the bloom, the bud still closed, still deciding. Quieter than the others. More patient. The gold frame suits it exactly.
Set in a hypoallergenic aluminum frame finished in gold, with a hand-formed wire bale at the top. Comes with an 18" gold chain. $44 CAD.
