One rose, deep crimson, fills most of the oval. Not a cluster. Not a spray. Just that one bloom, cut right at the heart of it, where the petals layer back on themselves in dark magenta and burgundy. A sweep of bright green leaf catches the upper left corner. The white ground shows at the edges, giving the rose room, but only just.
