Serena Oblong, The Heart of the Rose, Silver

The cut went straight to the centre. A deep pink rose fills the frame almost completely, petals dense and layered, the colour rich and saturated at the heart where the bloom is tightest. A narrow strip of the warm cream ground shows at the lower edge. That's the whole composition. No foliage, no accent flowers. Just the rose, exactly as close as it gets.

The tall oblong silver frame gives it a quieter presence than you might expect from something this direct. Clean wire, shaped by hand, gathered neatly at the top. It wears long and narrow on a silver chain, and the effect is less floral than you'd think. More like a portrait.

Set in a hypoallergenic aluminum frame finished in silver, with a hand-formed wire bale at the top. Comes with an 18" silver chain. $44 CAD.
