Pink roses and what look like hollyhocks, climbing from the bottom of the frame toward the top. Blue and yellow flowers gather at the base, a small red accent among them. The whole thing reads like a posy someone arranged with care and then forgot to take indoors.

The oblong frame suits the vertical reach of it. The flowers have somewhere to go and the shape lets them get there. Warm gold all around, unhurried.
