Two worlds in one round frame. A band of deep cobalt runs across the top, a chrysanthemum at its centre, gold scrollwork curling on either side. Below it, the ground opens to white and the pattern softens, blue florals reaching upward, open and a little wild. The line between the two zones is clean and deliberate.

This is the kind of blue and white that suggests a long journey. Something old, something that passed through many hands before it arrived here. The warm gold frame is the last unexpected thing it needed.
