Collection: Haworth

Haworth. The name alone has a kind of quietness to it.

Royal Albert copyrighted this pattern in 1982 and kept it in production until 2001. Designer Peter Roberts, who had taken over from the legendary Harold Holdcroft, chose to go still instead of bold. White flowers with the softest blush at their centres, green and olive foliage on white bone china, a scalloped rim, a fine line of gold. No riot of colour. Just a very considered kind of calm.

We find these pieces now, cups and saucers and plates that lived on tables where someone valued that quietness, and we see what they still have to offer. Each pendant begins with a carefully chosen fragment of genuine Royal Albert Haworth china, selected for the way the blooms fall and the leaves curve in that particular piece. It is set into a hypoallergenic aluminum frame, finished in gold or silver, with a hand-formed wire bale at the top. No two are the same. They can't be.

It is the kind of pendant you reach for on the days when you want something beautiful and unhurried. Something that doesn't need to announce itself.
